Hello all, my name is Lai Ping.

I am raising funds for my former school SMJK Ave Maria Convent in Ipoh, Malaysia which was established in 1938 as a Chinese Medium Convent School with a noble mission to empower young women through education.

The swimming pool is now closed due to safety concerns. Funds are much needed for constructing a new swimming pool. With the new pool, it will help many poor students to learn swimming in a safe and clean environment.

This is where I learned how to swim. Many fond memories and kinships were formed in this swimming pool, and with your help many more will be created.
