Help Smithson out of a rough spot

Delivering for these app services felt like a desperate attempt to salvage my life. The pandemic has made the demand for delivery services reach an unprecedented high. Out there, I found that the need for things ranging from food to gas powered scooters on delivery- is astronomical. However, the pay is not. I saw so many like me, that seemed to deliver full time. I spoke to them when I could. They did in fact. For them- it was their only way to survive, and provide for their families. I wanted to help them. But I thought- how can I?

So I spoke out. I never expected this to be seen or heard in such a fashion. I’m grateful for everyone that cares. Knowing I made a dent in this gig economy app service, and in a sense- the food service industry itself, feels good. I’m glad I could help bring some awareness.

Last year has been the culmination of poverty, financial problems and difficulties that are significant enough to have me immobilized in this situation. It is so exhausting. No one deserves that, in my opinion.

I do not own this vehicle. I have helped many. Unfortunately that is not always reciprocated in life. I also have escaped great perils that I did not deserve. Why? Because life can be cruel for some, more so than others. Because I show kindness, a rarity I want to change as well. Lack of effort, and hard work are not among the reasons, however. I need my dignity back. I know, that it is unlikely however- that I can simply ask for what I lost, what was taken from me. It is possible, for a man to come to tears, even in strength. I can attest to this personally.

If anyone sees this and understands or can relate- you know that anyone living in such a fashion, truly must genuinely have endured awful things. I have faith in The Lord, that this will happen: that my faith will move this mountain out of my way. Poverty has been the scourge of my life, for too long. So long, that asking for help is far less humiliating than the endurance of it.

I have no resources. Any help I receive will go towards rebuilding myself; establishing a starting point that will set me up for a better chance at success. That would be a great blessing after being down so long. I have some clothing that I have obtained. Besides that- that is all that I own. WiFi and the cheapest cell phone service available is what I have been using for some time now. I thank you, for reading this. Please, know that I am eternally grateful for your time, and your kindness.

Luke 6:38

“Give, and it will be given to you. Good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap. For with the measure you use it will be measured back to you.”

Numbers 6:24-26

“The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace.”

Amen. God bless you.
