Hello, my name is Maranda and I'd like to ask your help for my dear friends, Smith and Donald. These two mean the world to me, and I'd first like to start by saying they and Neko the cat are all okay.

At 2am on August 29, Smith smelled something odd. He went searching around their house, and found the breaker box was on fire. He got Donald out of bed and to safety, while calling 911 for help. There is significant damage due to this fire, which has made them have to rent an Air BnB with their cat, while the lengthy process of insurance claims and contractors work on repairs, and making the house safe again.

I'd like to ask for help to pay for their Air BnB, insurance deductible and other unforeseen financial burdens. We are all so relieved that they are okay despite this event.
