Help Ramon Orozco and his Mobile Mechanic Service
Donation protected
On the afternoon of July 3rd, the owner of Orozco Mechanic Mobile Service, Ramon Orozco, had $35,000 worth of equipment stolen in the matter of 20 minutes (the time it takes to grab a pizza) from the Costco parking lot in Inglewood.
Damages include the loss of specialized mechanic's tools like scanners (one alone costs $7500), power tools, electronics, test kits, and much more. The financial loss is devastating to a local business owner who was already affected by the pandemic. Anyone who knows Ramon loves him and his commitment to support and uplift his community as a whole. Now it is time for our community to give back. Ramon has been adamant about setting the goal amount low at $15,000.00 (because that’s the kind of guy Ramon is) but rest assured that $15,000.00 is a drop in the bucket for all of the loss incurred. Please consider making a donation of even $1 to help keep his Mobile Mechanic Service alive.
If you aren’t able to contribute monetarily, please consider donating your time or skills to an event being organized by Elizabeth Arguelles to raise more money for Ramon and the affected community. Items and services already donated include art, crafts, car detailing, and more. Please contact Elizabeth for more information.
(Housekeeping information required by GoFundMe: I am located in Daly City, CA and I am the daughter of the beneficiary. All funds will go directly into an account owned by Orozco's Mobile Mechanic Service and will be used to repair and replace damaged and stolen items. Police Report GO#20-41038)
Ramon is a U.S Citizen that immigrated from Mexico in the late 80s. He worked hard to be his own boss and create his own mobile mechanic shop. He has been a mobile mechanic to thousands of people in Los Angeles county for over 30 years. He's created the opportunity to help put his two children through college, one graduated from UC Merced, the other is currently a sophomore at SF State. This is his life's work and he's invested a lot of time and resources in making his American dream possible. #smallbusinessrelief
Message from my dad:
Thank you everyone that is donating, and helping my small business recover from this loss. Without the equipment, there is no way I can work and help my family. Again, thank you everyone and please never buy stolen equipment as it hurts small businesses like mine.
