- Sly is a loving, playful, magical dog. Nothing brings him more joy than to sprint full speed or to play keep away with his friends. He loves running through the river and swimming as fast as he can.
- Unfortunately, our super athlete has sustained an athlete's injury. Sly has a partial tear of his cruciate ligament (dog ACL). This means whenever he plays or runs, he winds up in lots of pain and if this isn't addressed his pain will only get worse and his mobility will suffer more and more over time. Sly needs a TPLO surgery to get back to his pain free, active lifestyle. This surgery has an incredibly high success rate and usually dogs regain most or all of their pain free mobility within a few months.
- Sly is young, otherwise healthy and strong and is an ideal candidate for this surgery. We want to give him the best quality of life, but this procedure is expensive and we could use some help. We have done our research and have found a highly rated surgeon who specializes in TPLO surgeries. Any help you can give will be deeply appreciated and we will do everything in our power to honor your donations with utmost attention to Sly's recovery.
