Hi everyone. As most of you may know my lovely wife Sloan has struggled with an eating disorder for many years and previously went into residential treatment back in 2021 for it. She worked extremely hard to be where she is today. She has made absolutely amazing strides in recovery but as we know with all recovery it is not linear process.
Per recommendation after multiple evaluations she will be going into a residential facility soon. Fortunately her insurance will be covering most of her treatment however, we still need some help paying for some medical evaluation that must be done before she can go into treatment as well as for the part of treatment not covered by insurance. The money will also be used to cover her living expenses as she will be out of work for an unforeseen time while away in treatment.
She is all too prideful to ask for help so I am doing this for her because she deserves to feel the kindness that she puts out in the world. Sloan is one of the most kind, loving, and giving person I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. All I want is for her to be able to continue her journey of recovery in order to live her life at her happiest and fullest.
