Help Slinky Walk Again: Support His Surgery
Donation protected

Slinky is our 5-year-old miniature Dachshund and is in need of surgery to fix his IVDD treatment. IVDD, otherwise known as intervertebral disc disease, is a condition in dogs that occurs when a disc between two vertebrae moves into the spinal canal, compressing the spinal cord and nerves. This has caused his hind legs to become non-functional. Surgery treatment would be necessary in order to help him recover mobility in his hind legs and be able to walk again.
We are asking anyone to spare any amount of money to help us proceed with the expenses of this. We understand it is a lot to ask for, but anything and everything helps. Even if we cannot afford treatment, there are other options to help us transition our dog into adapting to his new lifestyle on a wheelchair.
