Help Slice Robotics Cover Worlds Costs

Hello all, we are FRC team Slice|8738. We made it FRC Worlds in Houston, Texas. Being a team based out of North Carolina, travel and board is very expensive. Due to being a rookie team, we don’t have enough sponsorships to help us cover this. 

SLICE Robotics comes from Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina. SLICE is a very community based team, and we love to be able to represent our community at worlds. Aside from that, we’d love to be able to bring more people into the world of robotics, and have a more diverse community than we already do, and going to worlds could help us achieve that.

We have previously won a “Rookie All-Star” and a “Rookie Inspiration” award, and we just won another “Rookie All-Star” at state competition. We have also volunteered at Miracle League Baseball, taught an elementary school about robotics, have plans to mentor and FLL league at another elementary school in our area, and plan to do more things like this in the near future.
