Hello Friends:
On the evening of Wednesday, July 7th, our son Skyler was a passenger in a vehicle accident that left him with major injuries. Luckily, he will recover, but he has a long road ahead.
For those of you who know Skyler, he is an amazing human being - a scholar, an artist, a musician, a mountaineer, a friend and a great son. He's kind, talented, curious, and has always been a precious gift to us and the people who know him.
He recently graduated high school with straight "A"s and was accepted to UC Davis for fall admission. He was scheduled to begin a summer job at an outdoor wilderness school in Sequoia National Park. He also is a property caretaker for long-time residents in Three Rivers. His personal financial savings plan for college has been completely eliminated with the loss of these jobs. As his parents, we are seeking anything that could help make this situation easier for him.
We've had an outpouring of love and support from our friends, family and community. We appreciate your prayers, good vibes and kind words.
Many blessings to you all.
Dayna and Nathan
