Help Skylar stay in school

Hi, my name is Nu and I am fundraising for my good friend, Skylar, who some of you may have met.

Skylar is a trans-woman new to Stockholm and following her dream of studying "Digital Creative" at Hyper Island, the leading and most renowned digital creative business school in Scandanavia.

Originally from Romania, Skylar received a scholarship to study at Hyper, with financial aid support (CSN) provided that she can get a part-time job for her to work 10 hours a week. This worked fine the first 4 months, but then she lost her job due to cutbacks at the company. She's actively been looking for a job for the last 2 months, without any luck and her financial aid support has been stopped.

A former professional make-up artist, she's been applying all all kinds of jobs , even cleaning at McDonalds and waitressing jobs, but Stockholm is a hard city to get settled into, without connections. She's not giving up on trying though and continues to apply!

However, this month she won't be able to afford her rent at her student dorm, nor have money for basic sustenance. Please we have to help her this month, before she gets discouraged and leaves this schooling program she fought so hard to get into - and where she's really excelling in.

Let's help Sky stay on track by getting her education and uplifting herself. I know (and maybe you do too) how hard it is to find your feet in the beginning in a foreign city and culture. She just needs support now to bridge the gap whilst she's still looking for a new job. Any small donation will help! Or perhaps you know of someone looking to hire a bright, kind human?
