Hello my name is Latoya Mayberry and I am setting up this GoFundMe for my daughter Skylar.

On March 3rd, our family experienced something very scary and heartbreaking. Our daughter Skylar’s car caught on fire while she was on her way to school. Thankfully, she was able to get out safely, but the fire destroyed everything that was inside the car.

Skylar lost her means of transportation, her backpack, gift cards, and the money she had worked so hard to earn through Senior Serve and Senior Night. In just a moment, many of the things she had saved and worked for were gone.

Skylar is a senior at Angleton High School. She is a member of the Varsity Lady Cat soccer team, the National Honor Society, and HOSA. She is also an active member of Victory Temple Holiness Church, where she sings in the youth choir. Skylar has been working hard, staying focused, and doing everything she can to finish her senior year strong.

While we are incredibly thankful that she is safe, it has been very difficult for her to lose so much so suddenly.

We created this fundraiser to help Skylar replace the things she lost in the fire and support her as she finishes out her senior year. Any donation, no matter the amount, would mean so much to our family. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser would also be a huge help.
