Hello, my name is Emily and I'm starting this fundraiser for my daughter Skylar. She has been playing soccer since she was 3 years old and is heading into her 7th year of travel in the NLC division at 13.5 y.o.

As most of you know, travel sports can get very, very expensive. I've managed and struggled all of these years as a single mom to keep her on her team, but every year gets more expensive and a lot more difficult. Her dad doesn't help with anything. When asked, his story is, "I have 3 kids, I do what I can when I can." He never can, sadly. I've been covering all expenses on my own all of these years, getting no child support either.

This year I'm really struggling with it being a uniform year (they wear them for 2) and those mandatory kits run us $400-$600 alone MINIMUM, by June 26th I may add.

I feel like a loser asking for help, but this sport is so important to my daughter and her mental health, I don't know what else to do. Since I work in hospitality, my industry hasn't been the same since COVID and it's all gone downhill from there. Trying to get caught up on other bills besides soccer. I lost my 2 main jobs prior to the New Year and have been struggling ever since. My current job is extremely.inconsistent and I'm not making much.

I'm just desperate to get my daughter signed up and at least her uniforms ordered, then slowly figure everything out. I just don't know where to go for help, I don't have rich family or friends like a lot of people I know do.

Please help Sky continue her soccer career. She hopes to get a scholarship to college and play in the World Cup someday and I don't want her held back because times are extra tough for me.
