Skylar is 16, and she’s spent the last year deepening her faith. At the end of July, she will be traveling to Costa Rica with a team from Eastpoint Church to provide a local family with a safe, stable place to live. Their goal is ambitious: they are building a complete home in just 3 days.

While in Costa Rica, Skylar will also be meeting up with ADios Ministries as they travel to a very remote area of Puerto Viejo. She was inspired by a friend whose family has been involved in mission trips for the past 30+ years. She wanted to be part of a project where she could see the 'before and after'—knowing that at the end of the week, a family would have a door to lock and a roof that doesn't leak. This experience is bigger than her, and she’s truly looking forward to making a difference.

Every cent raised goes directly toward the cost of building supplies. Financial support provides the lumber, roofing, and tools needed to construct a home that will shelter a family for generations.
