Help Skylar: A Journey of Hope and Healing

Hello everyone,

On October 31st, 2023 we received the devastating news that my sweet niece, Skylar, has a brain tumor. It's been a very challenging journey for my big brother, Chris and his family. Their lives have been filled with fear, uncertainty, and countless hospital visits. Our only option at giving Skylar a chance at a healthy life is through surgical removal of the tumor. This tumor is causing Skylar to have a dozen seizures daily that are taking a toll on her growing body and brain.

As her aunt, witnessing my niece going through this has been heart-wrenching.

Her resilience and bravery have been awe-inspiring. If you have ever had the pleasure of meeting Skylar, you know that she is pure sunshine. She has the brightest light that this tumor has tried its darndest to dim but she has refused to allow it.

My brother is a small business owner and the sole provider for his family. While Chris is committed to being there for his baby girl every step of the way, it has forced him to take a considerable amount of time off from work. The reality is that this time away impacts their family's finances as medical bills continue to pile up. This financial strain adds another layer of stress to a heartbreaking situation.

Chris and Megan are not ones that asking for help comes easily to, but I am reaching out for them in a time of need. Any donations, prayers, and shares of this page, would mean a lot.
