Our friend Skye recently suffered a serious shoulder injury, and after finally receiving MRI results, doctors confirmed she has a complete rotator cuff tear that will require surgery. Unfortunately, due to severe inflammation and bone bruising, surgery cannot happen yet. Over the next 6 weeks, Skye must go through physical therapy to reduce inflammation and regain some mobility before doctors can operate. After that, she will still face surgery and a long recovery process. Because of the physical demands of her job, Skye is unable to work and will be out of work for an extended period of time. This means lost income on top of mounting medical expenses, therapy appointments, and everyday bills.

Anyone who knows Skye knows how hardworking, kind, and supportive she is. She has always shown up for others, and now it’s our turn to show up for her. We are raising funds to help with medical expenses, physical therapy and surgery costs, lost income during recovery, and everyday bills while she heals.
