I didn't ask for this photo to be taken -- I didn't even know it was taken at the time. I am asking for your help, because I desperately I need it.. The photo makes me feel ashamed and asking for help does too. I spent 4 days in the hospital — now they say I have pancreatitis and that I’ve had it for a long time — they should have known at least 5 years ago. Worst pain by far in my entire life. Even morphine and Dilaudid wasn’t helping.

My name is William Clarke Walker III aka "Skye", and for almost a year, I've dedicated myself to crafting "Silent Convergence," a philosophical science fiction novel that delves into the nature of consciousness, reality, and our interconnected future. This book is a labor of love and conviction... and it is near completion.

For the past six years, chronic illness has significantly limited my ability to continue the self-employed lapidary work I've done for over two decades. This has created considerable financial hardship, making it increasingly difficult to sustain myself while bringing this extensive novel to completion.

I'm launching this GoFundMe to humbly ask for your support. My hope is to raise funds to cover two critical areas:

First, approximately $8000 to $10,000 for the book's professional production – this represents a modest budget for professional editing, compelling cover design, and initial and ongoing marketing and advertising and ISBN number and copyright registration costs to ensure 'Silent Convergence' has the impactful launch it deserves. Amazon (KDP) won't show your book to anyone if you don't pay.

Second, a hopeful $8000 to $10,000 to help with essential living, moving and medical expenses over the next crucial months - as well as care for my 14 year old Boxer dog Kandy - the sweetest dog alive.

This support will provide the stability I desperately need to navigate the demanding publishing process and dedicate my energy fully to sharing this immersive story with the world.

To give you a glimpse into the universe I've built, I'll be sharing the first three chapters of the book as a sample of my work and a teaser for the completed book and you do not have to donate to read them. Should you decide to donate, your contribution, no matter the size, won't just be funding a book; it will be supporting an author dedicated to exploring profound -- and I hope important -- themes during very challenging times.

If I don't achieve these donation goals all funds received will be used to sustain my day to day living costs, but the book will be published no matter -- even if I can't raise the cost of professional editing and so forth. At a bare minimum this book will be self published on Amazon Kindle direct publishing.

You do not have to donate to receive the 1st three chapters.
