Help Skye and David Care for Tobias

On 12/18/24 David and Skye welcomed their second son, Tobias, to the world a bit earlier than expected. Due to being born prematurely, and later on some other health issues, he has had to go to 4 separate hospitals for his best care. While there he was diagnosed with chromosome abnormalities to the 18th chromosome. They haven’t seen the types of abnormalities mixed together the way Tobias has them, so they are unsure of how it will impact his future. Due to this he has several different specialists who will need to see him frequently to monitor his heart, lungs, gastrointestinal tract, eyes, and ears. He will also be having several appointments with the genetics team, occupational therapy, physical therapy, and  oral motor therapy. Tobias is still currently working on how to bottle feed and is receiving most feeds through a g-tube. Since Tobias has so many appointments and needs special care Skye has resigned from her teaching job to care for him.
