Skip Yelvington has been my lifelong friend—we met when we were five years old and have shared every stage of life together, from elementary school through college. Skip has always been someone I could count on, and now he needs our help more than ever.

For years, Skip has faced major health challenges, and recently, he endured the life-changing experience of having his leg amputated. He is still in the hospital, working hard to recover, but his journey is far from over. The next step is moving to a rehabilitation facility, where he can be fitted with a prosthetic leg and begin the difficult process of learning to walk again. Unfortunately, his insurance has denied coverage for the rehab expenses, leaving Skip in a very tough spot.
