My name is Lena (Skinny427, S2s, etc. online) and I’m reaching out for support as I navigate a challenging chapter in my life. In August, I underwent reconstructive surgery and spent 3+months in physical therapy—a surgery that was both deeply meaningful and medically necessary, but took a lot from me physically and emotionally. While my insurance covered part of the cost and I had managed to save up some money, I still found myself facing significant medical bills that I couldn’t cover on my own.

Recently, I learned that I’ll need a revision surgery in February due to a complication. This news has been overwhelming as I thought I would be able to put this part of my life behind me but instead have to wade through more months of surgery and recovery. I also don't feel prepared financially for this. I’m doing everything I can to get ready mentally, but the reality is that I don’t know how I’ll afford this next step.

I’m asking for help so I can finally put this chapter behind me and focus on healing. I'm the kind of person who outwardly appears strong and smiling while inwardly I'm barely keeping it together and it's hard for me to ask for this help even though I know I need it.
