Help SJP at UTA!

UTAs SJP officers, Dina Chkarka (President), Dana Amar (Vice President), and Rawan Jallad (Secretary/Tresurer) are planning on attending The National SJP Conference in Fairfax, VA on November 4th. We created this gofundme because SJP can not fund our trip due to the fact that all our profits so far have gone to aid victims of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. We need just a little more funds to cover the costs of our trip, specifically airfare.

This conference will benefit our officers by teaching us the skills it takes to run SJP succesfully, and the more successful SJP is the more educated our campus will be on injustice that is happening in Palestine.  This conference also benefits Palestine, with many charities and activist groups being involved in the event to raise money for Palestine. This event will have workshops as well to teach and help inform people on the reality of what is going on in Palestine, as many people only see the biased side of the news.

SJP at UTA has hosted many events and made profit but the money is always donated to a Palestinian Relief Charity.  We have been able to contribute to some of the airfare cost but can not afford to send all our officers especially with hotel and traveling costs rising.
