Help SJ Overcome Health Challenges

Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Strangers,

We are reaching out to you today with heavy hearts and a plea for help for our beloved Sara Jean "SJ" Struckmeyer. A few years ago, SJ suffered a traumatic brain injury (TBI) from a car accident that drastically changed her life. Since then, she has faced numerous challenges, and her journey to recovery has been an arduous one.

Recently, SJ’s health has taken a significant turn for the worse. Her immune system, already compromised by the TBI, has been further weakened. SJ is now battling Long Covid, which has led to the formation of microclots in her bloodstream. These clots are causing serious cardiac issues, as her heart is too weak to pump enough blood to her vital organs. This condition, along with chronic fatigue, has left her in a state of constant exhaustion, making it difficult for her to perform even the simplest daily activities.

These health complications have not only brought immense physical and emotional pain but have also placed a tremendous financial burden on the Freeman Struckmeyer family. The medical expenses have quickly added up, with over $15,000 already spent on hospital visits and specialist consultations. Despite these efforts, SJ's condition requires ongoing and intensive treatment, which doctors estimate will cost an additional $25,000 to $30,000.

We humbly ask for your support to help SJ and the familiy to get back on their feet. Your generous contributions will go directly towards covering the cost of her medical treatments, specialist visits, and necessary therapies to manage and hopefully overcome these debilitating conditions. Every donation, no matter how small, will make a significant difference in SJ’s journey towards recovery and bring hope to the Freeman family during this challenging time.
