Help Six Future Doctors Graduate Against All Odds
Donation protected
We’re reaching out today with heavy hearts and urgent hope. We’re a group of final-year medical students who are about to graduate in less than a month after a nine-year long journey filled with obstacles and rocky path. Unfortunately, right now, six incredible, hardworking classmates of ours are at risk of not graduating with us.
When the war tore our country Sudan apart, it changed everything. These girls have lost their homes, their families’ incomes, and had to flee to Egypt to pursue their education. After surviving so much and getting this far, they’re being told they cannot sit for their final exams unless they pay the remaining fees.
Without this final step, they won’t be able to graduate. They won’t become the doctors they’ve spent years striving to be.
We’re trying to raise 21,100 USD in less than 10 days to help them sit for their exams and graduate with the rest of us. That number is quite huge for us to collect, but if enough kind people contribute, donate and share, it’s possible.
Despite all the loss and heartbreak, these classmates have never stopped showing up, studying, and giving everything they have to this dream and we know, without a doubt, that they will be outstanding doctors. Our country needs them, and so does the world.
Please, if you can, help us get them across the finish line. Every donation, no matter how small, makes a difference. And if you’re not in a place to give, sharing this message with your friends and networks can go a long way too.
Let’s make sure they don’t walk this final stretch alone. Let’s help them finish what they started.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
