Help support my mom Melinda & my dad Sivi on their long road to recovery

Hi, my name is Briyanna Garcia, and I’m fundraising for my mom Melinda, and my dad, Sivi.

Recently, my parents were involved in a tragic motorcycle accident that left both of them hospitalized. As a result of her injuries, my mom had to undergo an emergency amputation and tragically lost her right leg. This has completely changed her life. Both my mom and dad will have many surgeries ahead of them, making their road to recovery a long and hard one. This has left our entire family heartbroken, but incredibly grateful that she is still with us.

Anyone who knows my mom, knows she’s one of the strongest, most loving, and selfless woman you could ever meet. She’s the kind of person who always puts others before herself, the heart of our family, and now she needs us more than ever.

My dad, Sivi, the main provider for their household had to undergo surgery on his knee. His chest, arms and legs have bad road rash. While his injuries, thank god, are lesser this unexpected trauma has brought not only emotional and physical pain, but also financial burdens; hospital bills, medical care, mobility support, and rehabilitation, keeping them both out of work and immobile for an unforeseen amount of time. They’ll both need to recover, before they can return to any sense of normal life.
