Help Sita Stay and Teach in the US

Hi everyone. Sita is one of our favorite teachers at Lawrence North. She's going through the process to get a green card, and is in the US this year on a student visa. She has to take full-time classes at IU Indianapolis on top of teaching a full-time job. She must pay more than $14,000 in tuition each semester as an international student to stay in the master's program to stay in the US while she waits for the green card application to process (she already has a master's degree). This is putting a financial burden on her and her family. Please join me in supporting Sita. Any funds raised over what she needs to pay tuition while waiting for her green card will be donated to Chuck's Closet (food and clothing pantry) for all of Lawrence Township.
