Hi, my name is Miya and I am starting this fundraiser on behalf of my sister Torrie and myself.

Torrie (left) and I (right) are 19 and 22 years old. We come from a family of five kids, and soccer has always been a huge part of our lives. For us, it has never been just a game, soccer is our life. It’s part of who we are, what motivates us, and what has shaped us. Since we were young, we’ve poured ourselves into the sport, spending countless hours training, working hard, and pushing each other to improve, always believing that one day we could play professionally and take this dream as far as possible.

We have been given the opportunity to play together in Uruguay, a country known for its deep soccer culture and history of developing world class players. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for us. It would allow us to train and compete in a professional, highly competitive environment and grow to a level that simply is not accessible to us at home. More than anything, this opportunity has the potential to change the course of our future in the sport.

However, the cost of making this dream a reality is more than we can manage on our own. Our dad works incredibly hard to support our family, but he is the only source of income for all of us, which makes this opportunity feel almost out of reach. Between travel, housing, food, and basic living expenses, the financial stress is overwhelming, especially at a time when our resources are already stretched thin. We are doing everything we can to make this dream possible, but we cannot do it alone.

Because of this, we are asking for help. Any donation, no matter the amount, brings us one step closer to the dream we have worked toward our entire lives. If you are unable to donate, simply sharing our story means more to us than we can express and helps keep this opportunity within reach.
