Help Siblings Get Life Together
Hello my name is Deanna and my siblings and I need help.
My older sister and I had been living temporary housing for about a year now for her but only a few months for me due to having to leave my abusive father's house after his neglect got worse.
This lead to my little brother being placed in a group home. While he's safe and has full contact with us, my sister and I are in complete danger of becoming homeless as our time with this temporary shelter is up. If we become homeless, it might become even harder to stay in contact with him.
We've been trying to find apartments and full time jobs so we wouldn't get to this point but a lot of factors (ranging from one job not even giving my sister hours to me just not being accepted after a hard interview)
My sister got a temporary job recently and is trying to make it more permanent. I'm still looking and applying even now, and we're so close moneywise into getting at least a studio for us to try and get more time. But since we're not staying in the original temporary place anymore, we're looking at cheap motels and last minute places to stay which might drain our funds faster than we could earn them, just to prevent total homelessness.
Our original plan (and ultimate plan) was just to get enough space so that we could eventually get our brother and be united again as a family, but our focus currently is just getting my sister and I in a safe place and the $1500 would be just a bit of a boost to help this not turn into a complete disaster.
