Help Sisters After Tragic Loss of Mother

Hi our names are Valencia and Karley Blair and our mom was our best friend. Mom was a bright light in a room full of darkness no matter where she went. She was kind, generous, a mother to all of our friends, and unapologetically herself. We will never forget as children watching mom raise us, giving us the best life possible. She took us to see as much as the world as she could. She kept a roof over our head, clothes on our back, and food on the table. However, in March of 2024 our mom felt ill and decided to go to the doctor where she was diagnosed with a cancerous tumor. But, the doctors were optimistic that mom would beat this thing. They believed once removing the tumor all would be well because the cancer hadn’t spread. We were so blessed. Mom started doing better, her appointments all were filled with hope. The sky was no longer grey and we were going to get to spend the rest of our lives with our best friend. On August 27th our mom went up for surgery, the surgeon said this would be easy and she’d be home in no time. Unfortunately things took a turn. On August 28th we were informed that our moms heart wasn’t able to keep up and she passed away. Our best friend. Our mom. Our world flipped upside down overnight. We are still grieving this is all so fresh. My sister and I are grateful that she gave us each other and we would greatly appreciate any donations to help with the funeral and other needs. We love you mom. You are the greatest loss of our lives.
