Sirius is my beloved cat, and he’s been part of my life since I found him at Popcorn Park Zoo as a tiny four-week-old kitten, right after he'd been taken from the streets of Newark. I fostered him for a few weeks and then officially adopted him at 8 weeks old back in late 2024. He’s always been a little anxious, but he’s also the sweetest companion, and I often refer to us as myself being his emotional support person rather than him being my emotional support animal. He's always been a very well-behaved and loving boy, if a bit shy around others, and I love him like he's my own child. Recently, Sirius began having severe seizures, and it’s been heartbreaking to watch him struggle. At the same time, I’ve been out of work for a few months due to a workplace accident, which has made it impossible for me to cover his medical bills on my own.

The funds raised here will go directly toward Sirius’s vet visits, tests, medication, and ongoing care. This is a life-long condition, and I want to make sure he gets everything he needs to live a long, happy life. Every donation, no matter the size, will help us manage his health and give him the best chance possible.
