As many of you know, we recently adopted Sirius after his previous family was no longer able to care for him.

Sirius hasn’t been feeling well lately. He’s normally energetic, food motivated, and full of personality, but recently we’ve noticed a clear change in his behavior and energy.

We’ve already taken him to the vet for a full exam and complete bloodwork, which has cost close to $900 so far. Unfortunately, the results were inconclusive. The next step recommended by our vet is X-rays to check for anything internal that the bloodwork may have missed. The estimated cost for this is around $780 for six X-rays (three chest, three abdomen).

We want to do everything we can to help Sirius feel like himself again. He deserves comfort, care, and a chance to get back to the happy, loving cat he is

UPDATE - Thank you to everyone that was able to share and donate. We have raised the goal a little bit to obtain more in depth testing including a echogram recommended to us by his Dr. Sirius is currently taking his medication to help him feel comfortable through this entire process!
