I’m asking for help for my sweet cat, Sir Earl the Grey. He means the world to me, and right now he’s facing a serious medical emergency.

Sir Earl has pica, a condition that makes him eat things he shouldn’t. Recently, he swallowed several of my hair ties and pieces of his toys, which have caused a dangerous blockage in his stomach and intestines. The vets say he urgently needs surgery to remove them.

The estimated cost for the surgery, hospitalization, imaging, and aftercare is around $9,000. As much as I wish I could cover all of it myself, it’s more than I can afford on my own.

Sir Earl is such a loving, goofy, and curious little guy. He follows me everywhere, curls up next to me every chance he gets, and has brought so much comfort and happiness into my life. He is only a year old. The thought of losing him is heartbreaking.
