Help Sion's Cook- Ms. Amber

On Friday, March 15th, one of Sion's beloved cooks, Ms. Amber, home was damaged by an electrical fire. It started in the kitchen, burned through the ceiling and into an upstairs bathroom. The smoke permeated the entire home, damaging furniture and personal belongings. Luckily, no one was injured and all four of her cats are safe. They are staying at a hotel a good distance away from school. She's now spending more money on gas to get to and from Sion. Amber does not have renters insurance and is trying to wrap her mind around how to move forward, knowing most of her items are unsalvageable.

It's going to take time for Amber to rebuild her life. We are collecting donations towards housing, food, clothing, personal care necessities, bills, and to help restore some of her belongings.
