Hello. My name is Siobhan. I am a disabled trans woman living with my father in rural Iowa. My father has had a lot of troubles recently that have lead to him being fired from multiple jobs, meanwhile I haven't been able to get a job because of new state laws and troubles with abusive family members that I don't need to get into.

We've had trouble paying bills and getting basic supplies. We have a $200 electricity bill due on the 19th and a $300 phone bill on the 13th. It's been snowing and below freezing for weeks and we can't lose our electricity.

Both of our bank accounts are empty. Our fridge is empty. We can't afford basic supplies. I only have a quarter-tank of gas and we have to make it to several interviews that he has scheduled over the coming weeks. I haven't been able to get my mental health meds this month and am feeling the effects. I suffer with chronic pain and can't afford even the most basic pain meds.

I've lived in extreme poverty all my life, but this is by far the worst it's ever gotten. I need your help to get by, at least until my father finds a job and I hopefully get my own job issues settled. Thank you.
