Siobhan is a close friend who has become an important part of the organizer’s life since February 2026. Right now, Siobhan is facing an urgent crisis: eviction in September, almost no financial cushion, and the very real possibility of homelessness. Over the past nine years, Siobhan has also endured the heartbreaking loss of most of her family, leaving very little support to lean on in this moment. On top of that, Siobhan has been trying to move forward without basic resources many people rely on every day, including a bank account, a phone with service, or a car. Siobhan wants to leave Ohio and make a fresh start in Washington state, where a safe place and support are waiting, but getting there has become impossible without help, she also is running dry on food, as her mother's SNAP benefits expired in march after her death earlier this year, on January 6th 2026, no food stamps meant getting food wasn't quite as easy as before her mom's death, which in turn meant what food was had came out of the meager, thin amount of money, alongside bills (or what thereof since she had no smartphone, no car, was unable to buy her own stuff, a critical part of it came down to severe and inaccurate thoughts about her, due to her having autism and adhd, which paved for a extremely stunted adult, as in, she lacks amenities that most of the world takes for granted, as the aforementioned covered.

The funds from this fundraiser will be used strictly for essentials: bills, food, rent, and travel costs for Siobhan’s move from Ohio to Washington. The immediate goal is to help Siobhan get stabilized, housed, and safe. Once Siobhan is settled, the same support can begin to help Siobhan’s long-distance girlfriend and the girlfriend’s brother, who are currently in rural Estonia, with bridging expenses as they work toward joining her and becoming self-sufficient. This fundraiser is meant to be a life jacket during a time when everything feels uncertain, her girlfriend and her girlfriend's brother are also intent on moving to the united states due to living for years with rather totalitarian parents who've brought mostly misery on them and they too want a new life.
