I have news for everyone!

For those of you who do not know me, hi—I am Sini, a freelance storywriter in the furry community! My news is that I am moving from the west coast to the east coast on January 27th! Some very good friends and I are going to be living in a house together, and striving together to improve our lives!

What are we funding? Shipping! Not for me—I'm not going by ship. I've got wings (being a dragon), so my flight is already covered. HOWEVER, still I have things that must be delivered from across the country, from the old residential address to the new. There is my hoard of books, clothing, tech and miscellaneous personal effects that must be shipped through UPS; and these essentials—about 230 lbs when weighed at home, and cost-estimated (cross-referencing two UPS weighing websites)—will charge me about 800-900 USD.

Alas, as a writer, making money is hard. I'm barely living check-to-check, let alone stockpiling much in savings, despite spending the bulk of my time working on stories. So I do need a bit of help from you guys!

The good thing is: If everyone who follows me on Bsky sees this link and can help out by sending me one dollar, then I will blow through my goal of 1,000 USD in order to comfortably be able to move all my essential belongings to our new home. So, if each of you could send me a dollar, we'd blow past an extra half of THAT goal.

I know that 'tis the season, so you may be thinking of other things right now, such as, "What kind of dentures do I get grandma for Christmas?" But if you could send me just a dollar, or what you are able to, then I will put those funds into the shipping aspect of my move! And if I raise my goal, and go past my goal, then any additional funds will go into other move-related stuff, such as getting my DMV Real ID so that the airport won't hassle me; or investing in new furniture, such as a desk to put my laptop on at the new place!
