I’m Roxanne. I’m a single mom and in 2022 I was diagnosed with non-small cell lung cancer (Stage 3A). I had to move quickly to have surgery, and recovery plus treatment has made it really hard to work and keep up with our bills.
I’ve always loved helping others in my community, and now I need a little help back. This is why I want to start this Non-Profit.
Hope for Single Parents Battling Cancer
Our Mission
Imagine facing cancer treatments while being the only parent your children rely on. Many single moms and dads in our community are fighting for their lives while also trying to care for their kids, pay bills, and keep food on the table.
Our nonprofit exists to ease that burden. With your help, we can step in to provide childcare, groceries, transportation, and urgent financial support so these parents can focus on healing — knowing their children are safe and supported.
Why This Matters
Cancer doesn’t just affect the person fighting it — it affects the whole family.
A mom in chemo might have to bring her children to treatment because she can’t afford childcare.
A dad in radiation therapy might skip appointments because he can’t pay for gas.
Parents often choose between buying medicine or paying rent.
