Help single mom whose daughter was hit by car
Donation protected
On Wednesday, March 4th, 2020, Juliet Horn was riding her bike home from a friend’s house in Abacoa, when she was hit by a SUV, while crossing the crosswalk. The SUV came out of nowhere and hit Juliet. throwing her about 15 ft down the street. The person driving the SUV was going way too fast and not paying attention. It’s only by the grace of God, Juliet is still with us today. Her injuries include a skull fracture, brain hemorrhage, concussion, broken eardrum, broken thumb, injured kneecap and obviously road rash all over her body. Juliet is 13 years old and goes to Independence Middle school. She is finally out of ICU, but will be in the hospital for a couple more days and has months of recovery ahead of her.
Juliette’s mom, is a single mom of three young girls, ages 14, 13 and 11. Their father passed away a couple of years ago and their mom has been struggling ever since. Their mother has actually been in the process of interviewing for jobs over the last couple of weeks, but now has to put that on the back burner until her daughter can come home. She is currently unemployed and trying to support three girls and now this. This family needs all the help we can give them. If anyone would like to provide any kind of assistance for this family, it would mean so much to them.
