Help Single Mom Recover From Devastating Accident

I am hoping to bring the community together to help my dear friend of over 30 years, Trish Hidalgo, as she recovers from severe injuries sustained in a terrible accident. Trish is a hard working single mother from Traverse City, Michigan. Recently she and her 5 year old son Mateo were victims of a devastating collision. On February 1st Trish was on her way home from dropping off her oldest son, Evan, at work when she saw an on-coming truck veering toward them. She attempted to turn away, but there was not enough space or time for her to avoid being violently struck. Law enforcement has informed us that the on-coming truck was going 65 MPH when it collided with Trish's vehicle. By the grace of God, Trish and Mateo survived the accident! 5 year old Mateo must have had extra guardian angels around him that day, as he escaped with a few bumps and some stitches. However, Trish took the brunt of the hit and is currently in the hospital with 8 fractured ribs, a fractured sternum, severe bruises and lacerations. As it will be several weeks before she can return to work, her 21 year old son Evan is helping care for Mateo while Trish is incapacitated. Though this means he will be out of work as well while household bills pile up as well as the medical equipment/accommodations she'll need during recovery. It's unknown how long they’ll be without transportation (as their only car is now totaled) which is another big concern.
