Help single mom attacked by pitbull

Please help my sister to recover after   An unprovoked vicious dog attack!!!  She is a single mom of two beautiful girls and has always done any and everything for them and everyone around her. She is a caring spirit who would give the shirt off her back and was in the middle of helping out an elderly neighbor when this all happened. She isn’t able to walk, work or provide for her kids now, she will miss spending time with her kids the entire summer break as she’ll be spending it from a bed. She will be down for the next 2-3 months before she’ll have to have another surgery and be down an additional 2 months at most. She’ll be loving with a gigantic hole in her leg re-learning how to walk because the dog ate her muscles in her leg. She will have to deal with being disfigured because she was out trying to do a good deed. Please find it in your heart to give what you can and if you can’t give anything we ask that you send a prayer up for her as we have a long journey before us.

*Trigger Warning* Saturday, May 24 I was attacked by a pitbull while on the way to drop off some Ensure drinks to an elderly neighbor of my grandmother’s to help look out for him. And doing so I accidentally walked into the wrong yard and was immediately attacked unprovoked by the type of dog pictured(not him) No hesitation he not only bit and ripped three chunks out my leg he also swallowed 2 of the pieces of skin. He also bit me in the ass, which left a 3 inch hole, and twice on the shoulder as he was going for my face and neck. The owner stood about 6 ft away yelling at ME for being in his yard, all the while allowing the dog to attack me. I only got away by having to stick my fingers in and scratch as hard as possible at the dogs butthole. (it actually worked) which allowed me enough time to dive out of the man’s yard into the street away from the dog. I ran into my grandmother’s house where my mom, aunt grandma Kids, and my niece were all at and traumatized all the kids because they seen the skin hanging off of me. Was able to make it to the hospital where I have been since Saturday I will be in here for at least another week to two weeks recovering as the dog to through my muscles and tendons completely in my left leg. He also bit through my thumb and has caused not only me, but my family, a great deal of grief. Animal control could not put the dog down as this is his first attack. But since the man also threatened the animal control workers, they did charge him to the fullest extent, and I will be suing for everything that I can get. Not only am I missing out on work but also missing out on one of my kids and nieces. Graduations have missed out on birthdays and will miss out on just spending time with my own family and kids because of having to basically live in this hospital for the next three weeks. I have never been scared of dogs anyone that knows me know that I am a animal lover. This has completely changed my life. My leg will never look the same my spirit about dogs will never be the same. Seeing a dog barking sent me into a panic attack at the hospital. I have aleeady had two surgeries and still have to get my skin graft and physical therapy to try to get this muscle back working and healed.
