Help Single Mom After Horrific Shooting

Ashley was recently a victim of a mass shooting at a neighborhood event. Ashley was shot at close range in her leg by a large caliber weapon. She was immediately rushed to the hospital, where she had two surgeries to remove bullet fragments from her leg. After her week's stay in the hospital, she was finally able to return home.

She’s currently receiving in-home care for her wounds as well as physical therapy. Unfortunately, that's just the beginning of her healing journey. She will need at least 1 more surgery plus skin graphs to close the wound completely. The additional surgeries will cover her physical wounds, but as you can imagine,  the nature of the shooting was very traumatic and Ashley will need trauma therapy in the future. In addition to all these new challenges, Ashley will be out of work for at least 2 months.

 

Ashley is the kindest, most generous, gentle and caring person I know. She is the kind of person who always has a smile on her face, even now. She is a single mom of a 15-year-old son who is excelling AAU basketball player.

For now, Ashley needs help covering the extensive medical cost of in-home nurses, physical therapy, hospital stays, past and future surgeries, and household bills while she is out of work. Any you can do to help is greatly appreciated. Please donate and share so others can help too.
