Help Single Mama with Extensive Car Repairs

Hello all!

My name is Rebecca and I have a wonderful 3 year old son. I work full time at a local book store that is a dream job, but not at all helping me make ends meet. I’ve been getting by as best I can but my vehicle has always needed a lot of TLC, and I’m desperate to get it in tip top shape in order to have a working and reliable vehicle for myself and my son. We live somewhat rurally and rely on my car to get us everywhere, since public transit is not an option where we live. I live about 40 minutes from my job and the stress of my fickle car nearly giving out on me every two months is giving me more gray hairs than raising my 3 year old on my own - which is saying quite a lot!

My wish and desperate plea is to get enough money to totally fix every little issue that the car is having, as well as pay for a rental for the time that it is in the shop. Any extra money will go towards food, ever-mounting and increasingly late bills, and new clothes for my sweet and wild toddler (who is 99%th percentile for height and outgrowing all his clothes so very quickly!)
