Help Sinead with her fight against Brain Cancer

Donation protected
Mid 2023 my wonderful, supportive, caring best friend was suffering from migraines, hand tremor and nausea- initially thought to be symptoms of vertigo.
After multiple trips to the GP, Eye and Ear hospital and physio, Sinead was finally sent for an MRI on Monday morning, 3rd July 2023. By Monday afternoon her husband was driving her to the Alfred hospital in Melbourne as they had found a suspicious mass in her brain. Two brain surgeries and too much time spent in hospital away from her boys Sinead, our friend, a mother, a wife, a daughter, a granddaughter, an aunty, a cousin, a niece, a secondary school teacher, a work colleague, our Sinead was diagnosed with stage 4 Glioblastoma an aggressive brain cancer with no cure. Her world as she knew it would never be the same.

This came as a huge shock to all who know and love Sinead, a beautiful person with a heart of gold, always there for those in need offering up her support and love. Sinead came home from hospital and took her recovery like a superstar with her little community rallying around her. She then undertook the ‘standard of care’ for a brain cancer diagnosis, 30 days of radiation and chemo, followed by 4 cycles of chemotherapy.
What’s next for Sinead remains up in the air, some treatments are upward of $200k and not offered in Australia.
Sinead and her boys, Brendan, Koa and Ralph need us now more than ever, Sinead is no longer able to work or drive, requiring assistance with transport to and from the many appointments and treatments that are ongoing. Brendan, Sinead’s loving husband, has had to reduce his work hours significantly to assist with the care of Sinead and their darling almost two-year-old little boy Koa. The family have had some incredible support thus far with many meals made (thank you everyone) and shoulders to cry on, now is our time to dig deep and help this beautiful young family. Sinead is not one to ask for help (she's always the one giving it) however with ongoing hospital visits, constant appointments, a mortgage and to continue to give the best care for Sinead, and best start possible for Koa any donation goes a long way for our girl.

This family's world has been turned upside down, no young family should have to go through this. Any donation is beyond appreciated and goes a long way for our beautiful friend Sinead and her family. With all the love and gratitude, thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

And please even if you are unable to donate, please share Sinead's story that too is greatly appreciated.

Love you endlessly Sineady xoxo
