This month has brought my family more challenges than we expected. I’m preparing for a necessary hysterectomy, and after the procedure, I’ll be on bed rest for 4 to 6 weeks. During that time, I won’t be able to work or do much at all—and with little to no income coming in, we’re struggling to figure out how we’ll cover our basic bills and necessities. It’s incredibly hard for me to ask for help, especially knowing how many others are also going through difficult times. But the truth is, we can’t manage this on our own.
