Hi everyone,

We’re reaching out on behalf of our beloved Simone, daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, friend, and one of the hardest-working women we know.

Simone is in the final stretch of her Vocational Nursing Program at Career Development Institute in Los Angeles. She’s got just 6 weeks left until completion, but she’s hit a financial wall that could stop her from finishing (literally, they won't let her register for classes).

The total cost of her program is $34,595, but since she has already earned her associate’s degree and is close to completing her bachelor’s, she has maxed out on financial aid and has only been awarded $5,000. She has managed to pay as much as she can while working overtime shifts as a CNA and raising her two beautiful children as a single mother. That being said, she urgently needs $5,000 to cover the remaining tuition and complete the program by December 1, 2025. The remaining balance of $14,600 is due in January, so she still needs donations.

Simone has always been the one to care for others and maintains a positive attitude while doing so. She’s determined and has overcome so much to get where she is today. Becoming a Licensed Vocational Nurse will not only allow her to achieve her dream career, but it will also give her and her children the stable future they deserve.
