Help Simon and His Owner

My name is Tiffany and I’m hoping to raise funds on behalf of a dog named Simon and his owner, Calvin. I’m very involved in dog rescue and received a call stating that there was a dog abandoned on a local walking trail. Upon my arrival I noticed Simon sitting near a rock along the trail clearly waiting for someone to come back. When I approached Simon to investigate someone else came along and said they had just spoken to Simons owner and they had both recently become homeless- the owner would be returning shortly. I went home and gathered some food and water to bring back and luckily his owner Calvin was with him when I returned. Without prying too hard I learned that Calvin was a chiropractor in Atlanta and has recently fallen of some unfortunate times which lead to him and Simon being temporarily unhoused. He is receiving funds on July 9th that will help him get back on his feet but I would love to come together as a community and help them stay afloat until then. Simon injured himself 2 days ago and needs to see a vet asap. He will need X-rays at the very least, and likely further diagnostics + treatment. I was able to pay for a room for tonight but they will have to check out at 11 am tomorrow, July 5th. My priority is to have Simon seen immediately, and any extra funds beyond that will go towards extending their stay at the motel room. Calvin does not know I am creating this fundraiser as I didn’t know if It would be successful and didn’t want to give him false hope, but I can say he has been extremely appreciative of everything I have done so far.
