Hi guys! Recently, my sweet sweet boy Simba fell extremely ill. Last weekend, he became lethargic, had 0 appetite, was constantly vomiting, and having bloody stools. It was super sudden, and he is normally such an energetic and silly boy so it really scared us.

My family and i immediately took him to the emergency vet, where they gave him anti-nausea and pain medication. We then took him to his primary vet, where they gave him x-rays, blood tests, and an ultrasound, and told us his small intestines are inflamed and he may have pneumonia from all the vomiting. The vet prescribed him anti-nausea, anti-diarrhea, and pain medication, and gave him a new prescription for veterinary grade food.

We are still waiting on a few more blood tests and malabsorption tests from his primary vet. They will inform us on the next steps and how to move forward with his treatment plan, and I will update this gofundme when we find out more information about his diagnoses.

Simba is now getting better and healing due to his medication, and his appetite is back to normal. He is still a little nauseous, but I can see him slowly getting back to his normal Weird and awkwardly Cute self.
