HELP Our Dear Silvia Osório During This Difficult Time

Dear friends,

We are coming together to support Silvia Osório, an incredible woman who is facing one of the greatest challenges of her life. Since February 2020, Silvia has been bravely battling cancer. She initially overcame ovarian cancer, but new challenges arose last year. In April, she had to resume chemotherapy and later entered a clinical trial at MD Anderson in Houston. Unfortunately, the treatment did not produce the expected results and had to be discontinued in November due to her health condition.

Silvia is currently under hospice care, receiving assistance and medication at home. Her strength and faith remain unshakable, and our mission is to surround her with love and support, making sure she feels the care of everyone who loves her. We believe that with God, nothing is impossible.

Throughout this journey, Silvia and her husband have remained private and never asked for anything—even as the bills piled up. They have always been mindful that many others also face difficult times. However, with the progression of the illness and her husband needing to be by her side full-time, it has become impossible for him to continue working and cover daily expenses.

Here in the U.S., many of us are far from family and support systems. In Silvia’s case, her entire family is in Brazil. Her parents are elderly, she has no siblings, and her husband has no close relatives nearby to help. It’s just the two of them, facing this difficult reality together.

That’s why we’ve created this campaign—to raise funds to help them with essential expenses during this time. Any amount makes a difference and will be received with deep gratitude.
