Silver is on his way to Arkansas! Silver and his best buddy Kickapoo are traveling together to support Silvers anxiety. MW Transport Mike Watts is transporting the horses to Naomi Leavitt (silvers original owner) Naomi has children that will love and adore the horses on a wonderful ranch in Arkansas. Truly a Hallmark story! This story is about Silver a 26 year old Arabian gelding was lost up on a mountain in November of 2020 for 11 days without food or water fully tacked; took some wonderful people and a group effort to find him and rehabilitate him. I’ve cared for Silver at The Chelan Rustlers Club since. Silvers original owner (Naomi Levitt) had been in contact with me when Silver was lost worried about her beloved equine. Naomi is from Chelan but relocated for her husbands job to Louisiana, after going through 2 hurricanes her family moved to Arkansas and bought a farm with dreams of bringing Silver home. She has 7 children all different ages, Silver will be loved and adored by them! We want Silver returned to Naomi for the remainder of his life. The challenge is it’s extremely costly right now transporting horses across state lines.
