Silas Jarrell Wilkins has always been more than just my brother—he’s been a father figure, a protector, and the heart of our family. From a young age, Silas stepped up to guide and support us, showing incredible parenting skills and always putting his family first. He’s the kind of person who would sacrifice anything for his kids, and his caring nature shines through in every situation. Silas is also the family’s mascot, known for his amazing dance moves and his ability to bring joy and comfort to everyone around him. If you asked him, he’d probably say he’s the best dancer in the family—and we’d all agree! But beyond his fun-loving spirit, Silas is a role model, a provider, and someone we all look up to.
Recently, Silas faced a life-changing diagnosis. After experiencing severe discomfort, vomiting, and other symptoms that made it hard for him to be the father he’s always been, doctors discovered that he has mesenteric vessels in his intestines that have been twisted since birth. This condition has caused him pain for years, and he’s already undergone the first stages of surgery. Unfortunately, things haven’t gone as hoped, and his doctors have warned that the next steps could be even more challenging and potentially life-threatening.
We’re raising funds to help Silas cover the costs of travel and surgery so he can get the care he needs and continue being there for his kids. Any support you can offer—whether it’s a donation or sharing this fundraiser with your friends—will mean the world to us. Thank you for helping us give Silas the chance to heal and keep being the incredible father and brother we all love.
