Hello my name is Silas Short, I’m looking for assistance to reset my life from an endless cycle of debt and clear my medical bills from a motorcycle accident.

A year ago on this day 01/24/24 I was involved in one of the worst experiences in my life, I was headed home on my motorcycle from a day at the studio and unfortunately was not seen by a driver who cut me off causing a terrible accident on 52nd and Echo in highland park. Fortunately I left the scene in an ambulance with my life but would not realize the hardships that would come to follow. Over the rest of the year 2024. I struggled with chronic pain in my spine and joints, on top recovering from a broken finger and sprained wrists limiting my ability to work either in both music and manual labor for the first 4 months of the year. Consequently missing out on so much has now trapped me in an endless cycle of debt which I had been holding out on for insurance to reimburse me, but now after recently finding out that the insurance will not cover many of my bills I’m left with few options.

Along with the LA fires many of my gig related income in the film industry, which I’ve come to depend on, and has allowed me to scrape by, has essentially come to a standstill. I feel as if I’m left with little choice but to seek help from my community, anything will help y’all, thank you ❤️
