Hi friends!
My name is Sierrah Wilson and there is nothing I love more than a good volunteer trip. I am passionate about medical outreach work, and I plan on devoting my life to this cause (both at home & overseas). One of the main reasons I chose Loma Linda's Physician Assistant (PA) program is because of the many ways they are involved in outreach, both in the Inland Empire and all around the world. I am graduating from the PA program this Sept, and have elected to do my 5 week elective clinical rotation in Malawi. During this rotation, I will be living in and working at Malamulo Adventist Hospital in Malawi. This is a 275-bed hospital in a more rural region of Malawi, but because of the size of the hospital (275 beds is pretty big for an African hospital) people come far and wide to receive care. I know God has so much to teach me in Malawi, and I believe this is exactly where He wants me to be. I thank you for partnering with me to reach this goal- I am so grateful for each and every one of you and would love any additional prayers or advice you have. Zikomo!!("Thank you" in Chichewa)
